Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling for advancing the commitment of ‘Viksit Bharat – Viskit Uttar Pradesh’, urged the youth to connect with technology.

Releasing a book, ‘Bharatvarsh ki Swarnabha Narendra Modi’ authored by former MP Ramesh Chandra Tomar, here on Friday, the chief minister said, “Writing is a form of devotion, and this book is an inspiring work that preserves the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi till now.”

He suggested that it should be kept in universities, colleges, and libraries so that the younger generation could draw inspiration from it. At the same time, he urged the youth to adopt AI and emerging technological knowledge. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India today is the fourth-largest economy in the world and will soon reach the third position,” he contended.

“Uttar Pradesh too is rapidly moving towards development. Before 2017, the state was called a ‘BIMARU state’, but today, it is the country’s second-largest economy. In 2016–17, UP’s GDP was Rs 12.75 lakh crore, and the target is to increase it to Rs 36 lakh crore by 2025–26, said the CM.

Appealing to the young people to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology, he said technology does not snatch away jobs, but rather creates new opportunities. “Just as computers created new possibilities when they were introduced, in the same way, AI will also bring new possibilities in agriculture, education, and healthcare. If farmers adopt technology, their productivity can increase up to three times,” he said.
