ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview for 128 Posts in Kolkata
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for the post of Senior Resident. A total of 128 vacancies are available at ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, and ODC (EZ), Joka, Kolkata.
This recruitment is being conducted on a contractual basis for a 3-year tenure under the Residency Scheme. Interested and eligible medical professionals are invited to attend the Walk-in-Interview scheduled between May 28 and May 30, 2026.

Vacancy Distribution

- Clinical Departments: 111 Posts (including Super Specialties like Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: * Clinical/Non-Clinical: Medical PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned specialty.
- Dental: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in the relevant specialty.
- Super Specialty: DM/MCh/DNB or MD/MS/DNB in the broad specialty.
- Candidates must be registered with the NMC/MCI/State Medical Council.
- Age Limit: * General Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
- For Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Physiology: 50 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per the Government of India rules.
Salary & Benefits
Selected Senior Residents will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹1,48,669. Additionally, they are eligible for Transport Allowance and DA on Transport Allowance as per existing rules. Residential accommodation may be provided subject to availability.

Fees must be paid via Demand Draft in favor of “ESI Fund Account No.1”, payable at Kolkata.
