Odisha CM Launches Rs 25,380 Cr Industrial Projects, 52K Jobs Across 12 Districts

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a landmark investment of Rs 25,380 crore during a groundbreaking ceremony held at the OUAT Conference Hall, marking a transformative moment in Odisha’s industrial growth.


The event celebrated the foundation of 27 major industrial projects spread across 12 districts, including Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Khordha, Koraput, Angul, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, Puri, Cuttack, and Sambalpur. These projects span key sectors such as renewable energy, textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and downstream industries.

CM Majhi emphasized that the initiative will create over 52,000 employment opportunities, ensuring inclusive development across regions. He reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and accelerating industrialization to uplift the state’s economy.

Industry leaders, investors, and senior officials attended the event, expressing confidence in Odisha’s potential to emerge as a leading industrial hub in eastern India.
